Franz Josef Allmayer is a universal citizen with roots between Austria and Guatemala. These contrasting yet complementary perspectives allowed him to question existing cultural paradigms built on scarcity from an early age.

Dedication to the fields of innovation and global development has enabled Franz to gather transdisciplinary experience working with international organizations, governments, the private sector, NGOs, and academia. This process allowed him to recognize pervading patterns and embrace a whole-systems approach to development that effectively provides value towards the entirety of the system.
In recognition of the need to unite fragmented efforts towards a cocreative development process that effectively addresses the challenges of today, motivates Franz to create the tools, processes, and on the ground collaborations to support the development of regenerative bioregional economies.

An avid explorer he has visited 77 countries, where he has formed a solid network of collaborators. In his free time, you will encounter Franz finding inspiration in nature, climbing volcanoes, and exchanging with leaders across multiple disciplines.

Franz Allmayer

Katharina Serafimova

<figure class="

Vivien’s curiosity and penchant for new experiences have led her to a meandering career path. It’s always a challenge to label and explain what she does. Yet, this unconventional journey has prepared her to be adaptable to change and be comfortable with the unknown.

She has been experimenting and collaborating at the intersection of design, emerging technology, and social science for over 10 years. Before that, she spent nearly a decade sharpening my design and transcultural sensibility in Tokyo and suburban Japan. After failing to scale corporate innovation and implement cultural change, she left the ego-driven battlefield to focus on inner work. In the process, she rediscovered inherent skills and cultivated social art practices. Through scribing, systemic constellation coaching and facilitating co-creative workshops, she supports individuals, teams, and organizations to gain clarity, be more attentive and conscious of their intentions and actions as they navigate complexities and uncertainties.

ofdeeplistening.com

Vivien Leung

Erin Dixon

<figure class="

Claire is on a long and intimate inquiry around conflict’s transformative potential. Having worked within the social and ecological change movement for more than two decades she has witnessed and participated in the full kaleidoscope of the good, the bad and the ugly.

Claire is deeply committed to cleaning up her own act around conflict. This has involved learning how to feel and alchemise both her fear and vulnerability, and her fiery rage – and an ongoing process of radical inclusivity. This 'healing and wholing' process involves learning to love all parts of ourselves, and especially those our patriarchal culture finds hardest to accept. This liberatory path sees Claire more and more able to embrace the rupture and repair needed for healthy and transformative relating and collaborating.

Claire's professional experience ranges from working for NGOs like Global Justice Now! War on Want and Sustain: the alliance for better food and farming, through to; co-founding Transition Bristol; coordinating the internationally renowned No Tesco in Stokes Croft campaign; Sustainable Food Coordinator for Bristol City Council; living and working as an activist facilitator for 2.5 years at Ecodharma, a buddhist community and education centre in a wild and remote part of the Catalunyan Pyrenees; and most recently working for Transition Network as the Inner Transition Coordinator, integrating the inner dimension of change across the international Transition movement. Currently Claire works for Starter Culture, a new initiative cohering alliances around radical inner-led change to help return the inner dimension of life back to the epi-centre of our individual and collective experience. As part of this work she convenes the Art of Activism a year-long programme supporting participants to resource radical change from the inside out.

Alongside ongoing embodied awakening work, Claire is also apprenticing as a soul initiation and underworld Guide with Bill Plotkin and Animas Valley Institute, in her commitment to supporting people to reveal and live as their unique soul purpose.

Claire Milne

Allie Middleton

<figure class="

Marta was born and raised in El Salvador. She is working and living in El Salvador as a biologist, theologian, educator, permaculturist, ecologist. Marta has worked all her life to manifest a culture of peace in her country and the world. She is part of the leadership of various networks at the national and international levels, both in secular and religious contexts, working on culture of peace, sustainability, inclusiveness, and women rights.

She follows various UN processes under Commission of Social Development, Commission for Sustainable Development, Education for Sustainability, UNESCO Decade for Education for Culture of Peace, Decade of Non-Violence, and Life-Long Learning.

Marta is the recipient of various international awards. She is a recognized writer, and has published a number of articles and chapters in a variety of journals and books She speaks Spanish and English and creates butterfly and humming bird gardens in her country and abroad.

Marta Benavides of El Salvador is one of the surviving activists from the original group of human rights and peace advocates who began their work during the 1970s and the rising climate of repression. A leader of an ecumenical revolution focused on bringing peace to her country, the ordained pastor who chose “to live and not die for the revolution” has been bringing people at all levels – politics, the arts, law enforcement, agriculture and food security, environment, religion and labor – together to defend human rights and develop a culture of peace.

During the early 1980s, Benavides was head of the Ecumenical Committee for Humanitarian Aid, a group sponsored by her close friend Archbishop Oscar Romero to support victims of violence. With the committee, she established the first refugee centers for people displaced by the violence. Almost two years after Romero’s assassination, Benavides went into exile and worked for the next decade from Mexico and the United States to bring an end to the war in her home country. With Ecumenical Ministries for Development and Peace, she developed programs to promote understanding and reconciliation among peoples and groups and end intra- and inter-family violence. She also built networks of international solidarity for a negotiated peaceful political solution to the conflict in El Salvador.

In 1992 after the peace accords were signed, Benavides returned home and founded the International Institute for Cooperation Amongst Peoples, also known as the Institute for the 23rd Century, which promotes the values of a culture of peace through a variety of programs. She established community training centers and continues to travel throughout the country conducting workshops on, among other topics, sustainable agriculture, human rights and the prevention of community and family violence, particularly violence against women and children. Her efforts have led to extensive collaboration with the United Nations, the World Council of Churches, secular and ecumenical networks and numerous other partners, and in 2005 she was one of the 1,000 women nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. Benavides has dedicated her life to rebuilding communities devastated by war and has brought renewal, both figurative and literal, to formerly scorched earth.

Benavides was a Woman PeaceMaker in 2009.

Marta Benavides

Charles Eisenstein

<figure class="
